About me
VICKI DOBBS BECK is a veteran executive with over 30 years of experience driving innovation and digital transformation in storytelling. In 2015, she co-founded Lucasfilm’s award-winning studio, ILMxLAB (now ILM Immersive). Using virtual and mixed reality, ILM Immersive aspires to create connected, cross-platform experiences as we transition from story-telling, to this much bigger idea of story-living.
Under her leadership, the studio has produced a portfolio of groundbreaking experiences including CARNE y ARENA, by Alejandro Iñárritu and awarded a special Oscar; Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, winner of the 2020 PGA Innovation Award; and the Emmy award-winning “What If…? An Immersive Story” with Marvel Studios on Apple Vision Pro.
