About me
John Gauntt is the host of The Augmented City Podcast --- an audio series exploring the intersection of
Artificial Intelligence and Urban Life since 2016. He's the writer and director of Burner Face, an award
winning audio fiction mystery about a future Seattle based on actual climate change and technology
futurism. John’s opinion and analysis of technology, media and marketing has appeared in The
Economist, GigaOm, O’Reilly and eMarketer. He has presented keynotes and panel sessions at SXSW,
Digital Life & Design, the Infinity Festival and the Monaco Media Forum. John holds an Executive
Certificate from the MIT Sloan School and earned a Master of Science in Information Systems from the
London School of Economics.
